A whistle sounds, and ILLIT pursues someone who keeps sending mixed signals. You’re Under Arrest leads BREAK EVEN, the group’s fifth mini album, released October 26. The playful investigation concept drew attention alongside the record’s first-week chart movement.

From No. 72 to No. 9

The song entered Melon TOP100 at No. 72 at 7 p.m. on October 26, then reached No. 19 at 11 p.m. that night. The official chart checked at midnight on October 29 showed No. 9. These are dated observations, not a claim about the ranking on publication day. The entry figures come from OSEN’s October 27 report. No. 9 is not presented as a release-to-date peak, and TOP100 is kept separate from daily and weekly charts.

First-day sales rose about 38.7%

Reported Hanteo figures put BREAK EVEN’s first day at 382,991 copies, against 276,145 for the fourth mini album MAMIHLAPINATAPAI. That is 106,846 more copies, about 38.7%. The earlier title track was It’s Me. This comparison uses first-day album sales from the same system, rather than first-week totals or a song’s peak ranking. Fan purchases and repeated public listening tell different parts of the story.

IVE released new music the same day

IVE’s EP Looks Can Kill also carries an October 26 release date in the official retail listing. At midnight on October 29, its title track was No. 8 on Melon TOP100, beside ILLIT at No. 9. One adjacent chart snapshot does not establish a winner. A more interesting comparison is how each chorus, performance or video makes you want to listen again. Follow later movement using the same chart and observation time.

After the numbers, listen to the voices

The album contains Super in Love, More, You’re Under Arrest and Pop. If the title track brought you here, move through the other songs to hear how the voices and moods change. Compare the pink spaces in the concept photographs with the investigative gestures and scenes in the music video.

Watch the playful chase first, then follow the chorus and each member’s expressions on another viewing. A name spotted on a chart becomes a song you keep only when something makes you press play again.
