Corrections & reader reports
Accuracy is an ongoing responsibility. Anyone can ask us to review a factual error, translation problem, attribution, image-rights concern or practical detail that has changed. The publisher and responsible editor handle these requests through our editorial inbox.
How we review a report
- Send the article URL, the detail in question and supporting evidence. The form below gives you a reference number once your report is queued for our editorial inbox. This confirms receipt, not that a correction has been accepted or an email delivered.
- We compare the report with primary sources and, where necessary, ask for clarification or a response from the relevant party. We aim to make an initial review within three working days; complex checks may take longer. Urgent safety, privacy and rights concerns receive priority.
- If a material error is confirmed, we correct the article and add a dated note explaining what changed. We check affected translations and practical links. Minor spelling or layout fixes may be made without a public note.
- We reply to the supplied email with the outcome or ask for more evidence. If you disagree, reply using the reference number and new evidence so the publisher can reconsider. Advertising relationships do not decide the outcome.
We do not silently reset the original publication date to make an article appear new. An ended event remains an archive with its current status; we do not turn an old announcement into a promise of availability. A correction request does not automatically edit or remove a story. A withdrawal for a serious unresolved issue is assessed separately.
제보와 정정 원칙
기사의 사실·번역·출처·권리 문제와 변경된 방문 정보를 누구나 제보할 수 있습니다. 발행인 겸 책임 편집자가 원자료를 확인하고, 중요한 오류가 확인되면 기사를 수정한 뒤 날짜와 수정 내용을 남깁니다. 연결된 번역판도 함께 점검합니다. 단순 오탈자·서식 변경에는 별도 공지가 없을 수 있습니다. 최초 검토는 영업일 3일 이내를 목표로 하며, 추가 확인이 필요하면 더 걸릴 수 있습니다. 결과에 이견이 있으면 접수번호와 추가 근거를 보내 재검토를 요청할 수 있습니다.
